I am a matte painter and I am currently working on a project that require me to create a realistic waterfall landscape in 3D with water animation.

I was thinking if this software can make this possible? Is there any here attempt to do something like this before, or come across a tutorial with similar goal?

I have never used Vue before, any advice and info will be appreciated!

I don't know what type of waterfall you're looking for, but using Particle Illusion from Wondertouch you can (relatively) easily make those like the ones seen in Naboo in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. These are the distant waterfalls that fall great distances.

You can then map the images onto a polygon in any software - Vue included. Aside from that, I've not seen a typical realistic waterfall in Vue.

would i be able to send you a concept art I have done and determine if it is possible to be created in particle illusion and vue?

Great tutorial Vladimir!

Looking at it now. Pretty much just as I thought one would go about doing it.
