Hi everyone,
I'm new to these forums but have been reading them for advice for a long time.
I've been trying for two days now to animate treads for a talon robot (much like a tank's) to no avail. I've tried all of the available mel script I can find which has all been incompatible or buggy. I tried this tutorial - http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tutorial/Animating-Tank-Treads/4705 with which I've run into problems at the first hurdle of animating a single tread around the path, even tweaking the motion path attributes doesn't help.
For something that seems simple in theory I really am perplexed. It would be really great if anybody could shed some light on this. I'm running Maya 2009 on Mac OS Leopard
