View Full Version : Blood and liquid simulator
MarioVeltri 03-12-2010, 11:02 AM Hi there, I need help to know how to create some liquid simulations,
like a blood spray, a tomato that falls on the ground,
some colored liquid that hit a wall and so on.
Can anyone suggest me the best way to do that?
Thanks in advance!

Take a tomato, drop it on the ground in front of a black backplate, film it.
detonationfilms.com has blood footage for free download, take a look if it's what you are after.

RealFlow is a good fluid dynamics simulator, but you normally have to know exactly what visuals you're after, and use the tools to get it - otherwise you'll waste a lot of time playing with settings and not necessarily progress forward.
watch mythbusters, they do lots of awesome slow-mo's of all sorts of things which will give you understanding of the dynamics :)
