Recently I've run into a new and fun little problem... seems 3ds Max 4.2 likes creating it's own keyframes while moving objects around even when the animation toggle button is off? Any one else experience this problem and know what's going on?! I tried doing a thread search, but couldn't find anything on the subject. I really don't want to have to reinstall max, it's such a pain, but don't want to fall behind schedule at work, cause my objects keep moving around on me, forcing me to go back and delete any keyframes it's created for me. Even doing this in the track view is tedious...anyway.. any ideas out there would be appreciated?!

In max 4.2, I've never heard of this. It does occur in 5.1 if backburner was running at the time of the upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1. Not all files get updated. I suppose it could also happen in 4.2 if you've done any updates and not all the files were updated for one reason or another. Reinstall may be the best option.

As long as you do not touch the c:\C_Dilla folder, your license should be fine.

Cheers,
