This has to be the worst movie concept Disney has come up yet. If you saw the trailer before Nemo, you couldn't help feeling embarrassed and even a tad insulted that it had the audacity to be on the same reel in the same room at the same time with Nemo. Yes the moose are funny. The rest however goes a little something like this:

Magical accident/vengeful spirit turns inconsiderate ~20yr eskimo into bear. Bear finds no one likes humans but aren't willing to help him either. Little bro bear comes along, tells him he can help, ends up was just lying for attention. Bear reveals he's human, but insists he's learned so much blah blah blah they have a fight, go separate ways, moody music ensues, danger happens, they reunite to survive, realize they share the love. The End. An insult to Inuits no less.

you're way off noisewar. The movie is actually pretty enjoyable. Having seen it a couple times, I can say that it's a great Disney film. Some great funny jokes in the movie too. Once it's in the theater Im gonna go and see it again in all it's glory.

If you are a 2d Disney fan, you wont want to miss this one. It's a great piece.

I agree with everything you said. I thought BB was just plain Hokey. Phil Collins certainly didn't help bump the movies appeal up. Keep doing this, DIsney and you'll ruin the 2d cel art movie business.

I thought the trailer looked pretty good, I'm gonna go see this. A lot of people wrote off Lilo & Stitch too but that was one of the best Disney movies in a long time.

Probably get bashed for this, but I like Phil Collins music too. Especially the song he did at the beginning of Tarzan (I think that was his song)

The visuals look stunning, now if they can actually get a storyline that's worth anything, then it'll seal it :)

How much 3D is on the movie? Those fish look totally CG.

Yeah, not huge fan of Disney's stories or music but the cinematography looks awesome.

This movie is out?
How did you guys all see it already?

From the trailer it looked like it was just Lion King set in a forest... :hmm:

I was the only one laying claim to seeing the movie. Reason being, I worked on the game. So we got a sneak preview....Perks in the biz ya know :)

It's really nice...There are some 3d elements but masked really damn well. It's not as horrible as the witch hunt is lead to believe. But Im easily amused by Walt's company..

It's a really lush beautiful film imho.

Guys - it's FOR KIDS.

Really, it's interesting to see how people's tastes change as we all grow older. Honestly, I didn't enjoy Nemo as much as Pirates of the Caribbean (both Disney films). CG-wise, Nemo was gorgeous and I can see how the younger audiences are totally captivated (heck, I'd be too if I was 10 years younger).

It's the same deal with Brother Bear. It totally looks hokey, I agree, but the kids love it. I'm staggered at how many teen chicks actually loved the Lizzy Maguire movie.

Like mosts of us I will go see this movie. If nothing else for the pure fact that this is the second to last of an era coming to an end. To pay tribute.

I thought the trailer was trying to hard. As usual the side kicks are great. I'll enjoy it I am sure.

I, for one, loved Nemo. What great filmmaking. No matter what audience was the target, the production was tight, the story immaculately executed. As always Pixar know how to focus us on what moves the story foward with great characters. I didn't find the movie visually as interesting as some of their other work. A lot feels a bit too safe. But as part of the overall package it really works. Can't for The Incredibles.

If BB's characters could come close to the emotional involvement that Nemo gave the audience I'll be happy. And surprised. Lets hope for the best.

Nothing says "North Western Wilderness" like Phil Collins.

I would have rather heard Brian Adams. Lame, yes, but at least he's Canadian. If you've got to go the cheese route, at least pick the right kind of cheese.

Do all the recent Disney movies have to have spirits and ancestors in the clouds and in the sky?
Just ground the damn movie.

Disney went downhilll when they chose to ride the politically correct bandwagon.

And please, no more Phil Collins and Elton John.

And people complain and wonder why Disney is not doing anymore 2D films anymore. Just look at all the people in here who haven't even seen the damn film, bitch about how hokey it looks. Has anyone ever heard of watching the damn film before starting in on how bad it looks?
