View Full Version : Help for sculpting an emblem with zbrush 3.5r3

Hi to all... Sorry for my english! :)

I need a hint for sculpt an emblem like this:

I try to set the mask to define the emblem, inverti it and use the layer brush but the result isn't like the original (I'm not very good in freehand drawing). Then I tried with stencil: I draw it with illustrator and then import in zbrush as stencil but is hard to adapt the stencil with the mesh (the text of my emblem is not a rectangular shape but irregular).

Could you explain me a good method? Thanks! :)

I dont think that it makes a whole lot of sense to sculpt something like this entirely in Zbrush. Model it in a program like Modo or XSI, then you can import it into Zbrush and sculpt the details. Although I'm not even quite sure what details that could be...

Model it in any 3D-program, do the noise/ dirt or whatever that is on the letters by creating textures for bump/ specularity and so on.

Totally agree, you don't need Zbrush at all for this.
