Howdy folks...

What better forum to ask this question than in this forum. Been speaking to my reputed dealer... and He says that it works ok...

Somebody posted that the Inspiron 8200 worked well... but for the GeForce GO chipset.

Anybody tried this with the ATI Mobility Radeon? Will it work just as well?

It works quite well with the 9000 chipset on the 8200.

Well, I downloaded few days ago the PLE, and I had some troubles with Maya as the system did not start!

The problem was with the card drivers as I had the last Omega drivers.
The solution? Disable the Triple buffering.

The application worked. It takes a long time to start (more than a minute) But it worked fine. I mean, it's not too fast, but enough to model and render.
It sometimes crashes when changing from 1 view to 4 view. I still don't have a clue

My Machine has 384 mb Ram.
Insipiron 8200 P4 2ghz
