Hi, If anyone is using Maya with Lightwave, Im wanting to import my lightwave objects into Maya.
So I go to Highend3d and download what I thought was a scrip for Maya That would import & export LW modeles into maya, the problem is they are not maya scripts they are files with the extention ( .mll ).
So my question is how do I install these into maya?, Im only 4 days old in Maya so any help here would be realy helpful.

Thanks.

.mll is a Maya plugin file.

it belongs in:

aw\maya#.0\bin\plugins

you then have to load the plugin through the preferences menu:

windows>settings\preferences>plugin manager
