Hey peoples, I have been bored in Photoshop and this is what I came up with, and wanted to run it past the boards before i went into shading it more.

Anyway here is your favorite fairy toting, flute playing, sword swinging guy in a green tunic.

Anyway this is where he is.

Rip it apart everything from anatomy, to the look on his face, or the color of his clothes (although how can you get green wrong...)

Thanks.

ok riping it apart!
hisleft leg is squashed and broken in the knee and ankle, his front hand can be also a little bigger, try to work out whole composition at start , background....lightning...
otherwise its a good starting point but i find colouring very predictable ..make it realy daring in terms of colour because this type of characters are so predictable with all their equpment it is really hard to squeze somthing new and yours in it...
keep up:beer:

it's good. I enjoy drawings of recognisible creatures of fairy tales. I think everyone trying to come up with there own version of fairy tale creatures gets confusing. The shading looks fine to me. All he needs is a beautiful princess to rescue, a dwarf to be a companion to and a dragon to fight.

PS you going to finish the face right? (only added this b/c it's ovious your not done witch is the only reason it look's strange now)

I think I should add this... this is supposed to be Link from the Legend of Zelda games... not just a generic elf guy... sorry for the confusion but I thought he was pretty recognizable...

Here is a pic of link (from The Ocarina of Time) official art from the game manual (http://www.woodrell.com/joe/link-official.jpg)

And here he is in soul caliber 2 for gamecube (http://www.woodrell.com/joe/link-sc2.jpg)

he has several outfit colors in sc2 green, blue, red, light blue, and purple from what I know.

Anyway I am going for a look similar to the official artwork version...

Thanks for the replies, always a good thing.
