Hi,
I just bought a Genius G-Pen F610 tablet, and I am having an issue with the cursor freezing when I rest my hand on the tablet.
I have installed the latest drivers, moved the tablet away from other electronics, and it has its own USB port. I experience the same problem when I hook it up to my laptop.
When I have part of my hand resting on the bottom edge of the tablet outside the drawing area and part of my hand on the drawing area while I am holding the pen, it will not work. The light blinks and the cursor is frozen.
If I lift part of my hand off the drawing area *or* off the bottom edge of the tablet, then it will work. If I am not paying attention and rest my hand again while drawing, it stops and the light blinks.
I know very little about pen tablets, and I can't find any information about this problem through Google searches. However, it feels intuitive to me that this should not happen. It seems unnatural that I would have to always hold my hand up in the air while drawing to make it work.
I wanted to make sure I wasn't just experiencing typical limitations with pen tablets before I send this back and order a Wacom.
Thanks :)
James
