Egg3D 03-05-2010, 11:51 PM Can anyone help me ramp a transparency to car paint phen x?
This is easy to do with maya nodes...but cant get it with MR?
I want to be able to animate the ramp.

one simple solution is to use mayas layeredShader.
mi_car_paint_phen_x1.resultR -> layeredShader1.inputs[0].colorR
mi_car_paint_phen_x1.resultG -> layeredShader1.inputs[0].colorG
mi_car_paint_phen_x1.resultB -> layeredShader1.inputs[0].colorB
then
ramp1.outColor -> layeredShader1.inputs[0].transparency
