That's pretty cool. it looks JUST like the stargate i got in my garage! I like the wires and such poking out of it. I'm a huge fan of 'clean' and 'smooth' texturing, I like it! Hey, if you could put more wiring on the floor i bet that would look pretty cool too...

I think this looks like a great start, but I think this scene really needs some better textures to push up the realism. the walls and metal parts look very flat. I can tell you have done some great modeling, I just think the lack of textures is bringing down the quality of the whole image. I sell a whole cd of metal textures at grahamages.com. if you want I will let you have the cd for free if you want to experiment a bit with it. just please don't use it for commercial uses :) Email me if you are interested.
