hi ,
i want to make a sort of telephone whire like the picture below.

i want to make it with nurbs but i cannot find the way to do it , i think its a simple tool but i cant find it .

ok , i found the tool , i just needed to extrude the circle around a cuirve.
but i cant tweak it so i get the result below ,

does any body has tips ? i want it to look like a boxring rope and animate it to .

What do you want a rope or telephone cord?

For a rope :
create nurbs circle
translateX 0.959
translateZ 45.046
ScaleXYZ 1.17
Load your Spiral MEL
Enter command : spiral 90 1 15;
rotate X 90
Select circle, shift select spline > surface > extrude
Ctr-D (copy) then rotate Z to arround -180 to -185.000

sry for the confuse stuff , i wanted to make a rope but in the first post i want to know te technic to make a telefon wire en then tweak it to a rope ..

wich version of the spiral mel do you use ? i have downloaded v2.0 from highend3d but i cannot use this command line : spiral 90 1 15; .
i am sorry that i ask somuch.

Maya has built in Spiral tools, located on Maya > scripts > unsupported
or you could search Spiral.mel :)
