View Full Version : Animating gridwarp with trackers

I am trying to setup a gridwarp that is locked to a section of footage. Any ideas?
I have setup a tracker over the area I need to use the gridwarp on, and tried to connect the grids center to the unsteady tracker position, but it moves the grid to the center of the frame. I am also trying to use an offset modifier, but I can't see to make it work. Can anybody give me a hand?

Fusion transforms are a strange beast, I've been fighting it all day trying to clean up a plate using gridwarps (3x4 grid with all points connected to individual tracker locations on source and destination grids to fix cloth painting issues)

For you:
When you make a tracker it will have a path assigned to it's motion.... by default this will be called "XY Path on Tracker1: Tracked Center 1" which you can rename if you go to the modifiers tab of the tracker node, select its title and press F2. Attach your gridwarp's center to this path and you'll get what you need.
