Hi there,

I am having to build a 3D pop up book and was wandering if anyone knew of a way to make the assets pop up from the book without any interpenetration happeing on either the asset or the book.

So far i have tried clustering the page vertices to the bottom of the asset vertices and while it works the asset penetrate the pages of the book when folding down.

Any help would be great

I would more than likely use bones and use an actual Pop up book for reference. Starting with some small scale experiments first. Also it really depends on how fast the pop up happens too. If it happens fast enough you should be able to get away with a certain amount of clipping that no one will be able to notice.
