View Full Version : Masters D. in Animation, VFX or Game Design for less than 8000 per semester?
callmepeli 03-01-2010, 09:32 PM I will graduate in December and I am planning to pursue a Masters degree in Animation, VFX or Game Design.
I am looking for universities in the US and Canada primarily but also open to any other country.
Most of the ones I found are private schools that charge more than 10k per semester.
Any recommendations??

Anywhere in the UK? Even paying the International Rates for a masters student (which vary between £8 - 10K for the whole Masters per university), on a three semester year you'd be paying about $5000 per semester. Sounds like about half the cost of the US.

Thanks for the reply, I did notice in Bournemouth or Glasgow tuition is about $7500 per semester which is a good deal. Still I'm also considering the cost of living and so far here in TX I have found a good rate but definitely wanted to see what is out there. I will definitely look into more UK universities to see if I can find a cheaper one.

I went through the FIEA program at the University of Central Florida. It's a state school, but the program is a little more expensive than the avg state masters degree. I think it was about 30k for the whole deal. When you consider almost all the art/programming grads get jobs, its not a bad deal. www.fiea.ucf.edu
