I have a number of favored export settings, but they might differ greatly from what others would recommend. For lossless I prefer Quicktime Animation codec at full quality. That should be suitable for going to DVD. For previews, I like to use quicktime Pjpeg or Windows Media. I've never worked with PAL before so I can't help much with compatibility. Be prepared for large filesizes with quicktime animation files. I have a couple terabyte drives in my computer and they were a great investment.

You do know that you can export/import projects from and to Premiere? No need to render anything before editing.

Pal is 720* 576 so you will have to downscale the composition and add a letterbox.

What do you use for authoring the DVD?

Hey thanks for the responese ! i got it into premiere, now its not rendering out so well, some of them wont go past 1920x1080. im not taking it into an authoring program it just needs to be the animation (6 secs long, its just an animated logo) in the best quality i can get it. what codec and settings would you reccommend ?

H264, 2 passes, bitrate at 1500 kB/s, maybe more for full HD, 500 if you downscale to PAL

I have no ****ing clue about what you are talking about. Being more descriptive or posting screenshot might help when communicating with people how ain't clairvoyants.
