A very large percentage of the British people I've worked with over the years here in London are Bournemouth graduates. They do a good job of preparing students for VFX work.

I'm considering taking this course but, I am a lot more towards modeling than animation but, animation does still interest me so it's not like I won't have any motivation in that respect, if anyone would know, would I still learn adequate modeling skills from it?

The course you've mentioned is delivered by the Bournemouth and Poole College which is unrelated to the NCCA. Its the NCCA's courses that are considered to be some of the best in the UK, not the ones at the college. So whenever you read about Bournemouth's reputation, its about the NCCA, not the college.
