View Full Version : Egg roll Setup
squeige 02-27-2010, 09:00 PM Hi guys,
I been searching for a couple of hours online on how to achieve an egg rig that can rotate accordingly, in my search I have found a really sweet rig at
http://www.mike-best.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=39:howtomakeaneggroll&catid=21:techviddetails&Itemid=29
I am wondering though what has this artist/td done to get the egg to rotate accordingly in this fashion?
Any ideas?

Also found this site, which looks interesting, still trying to figure out how to apply it to a 3dimensional egg so that I can translate in x and z and have it rolling as well

For wheel rotation I would check out the Mel script done by Duncan called makeRoll. But I cant seem to make it work with an egg. But thanks for the site and the input :) any ideas for this? Your solution to the wheel rotation is very elegant nevertheless.

There are some intresting things going on with an Egg. It's a really good case study. I'll explore this later, don't have tons of time at the moment.
