I've never used Nucleo, but I tend to either want my computer 100% focused on the work i'm doing, or 100% focused on rendering. Rarely both at the same time.

As far as a rendering solution goes, I like working with Smedge from uberware. Great for multi-machine renders for multiple software applications, and you can have the engine rendering on your system while you're working. (Though I wouldn't recommend it)
