View Full Version : Ecosystem on Symmetry Terrain

Hey all,

I created a terrain then ticked the 'Symmetry' option in the terrain settings. When I apply and eco-system to it I only get it on the top half of the mesh. Does anyone know how I can apply an eco system to the other half of the terrain, the mirrored half basically.

you basicly cant... which is a big shame and hopefully vue will let us do real soon.

However, it´s possible to manualy ecopaint the mirrored part of your terrain, or just copy and paste the original terrain and eco and turn it upside down and realign it manualy and there you go.

ah disappointing. Yeh the mirror will not work as I want the eco system to be effected by the slope and height etc of the terrain.

I will try painting and see if I can achieve the same effect.
