yes, better i would start adding shadows to make the whole thing pop out. something i notice that alot of people do (including myslef) is that we are sometimes scared to add shadows because we feel that we might mess up the drawing, my advice i sto create your basic shadows, place them on a layer, use the burn too and experiment with very dark dark shadows try different tones until you find the one that looks best. take advantage of the fact that we have "cntrl-z" , let me know if i can assist
