Hi,
As stated in another thread I'm working on a project that includes about 5000 visible lights. It consists of three parts that do not really interact so I can render them seperate and compisite them afterwards. All the lights have falloff and lights from one part cannot reach another part. When I render the image with only lights from part 2 turned on, parts 1 and three are completely black. So there seems to be no influence from one part to the next. When I render the three parts seperate. the total render time is about 20 minutes. When rendering all parts together, the rendertime goes up to two hours. Just out of curiosity, why does it take 6 times longer to render the entire scene?
