I downloaded scene files and pdf, but sometimes along the course in the pdf it says “on page ...” for instance “page 146”. Pdf starts at page 205 (chapter 10). Where to find the rest of the manual?

Surely you don't expect those people behind Maya to do anything right at this point. For 10 years they have been breaking everything the put together in Maya version 1. That's what they get paid for.
