Here is my idea. A little creek in the midground with a small (1ft tall) waterfall. 2 twisted knarled trees in the forground. One has a door entrance at the bottom with a small path. The other has a burl (tumor) with windows. A path leads from the door to the waterfall with a tiny rope bridge crossing it. Small tree dwelling people are crossing with lanterns. Lanterns wind there way up the small hill in the background and dissappear over the hill into a ray of light. Ground fog and magical dust in the air complete the look. I will probably not post the sketch I have as it is very rough but will start to post models in the next few days.

Sounds a bit like a scene out of Lord Of The Rings :)

Here is my first jpg. These are going to be my "Hero" trees. They still need quite a bit of tweaking in the geometry but they are getting there. I don't know that I will have time to texture this scene so I am going to model everything first and then worry about texturing and lighting. I still have to had foilage to these trees. That will probably be the in the next post.

I'd work on the trunks, but those are the best looking branches I've seen yet. :applause:
