Hy everybody !

This is the "tuned" scene of the audi A8. Thanks for your tips.

I have tweaked the head and backlight materials ( thanks mwkmn for the tip ), I also changed the shape ( a little more rounded ) added a cleaning system ( daniel ;) ).
I changed the shadow to areashadow ( @ simon )
added a little atmoshere (fog) ;)

All modeled in Max ( car, enviroment, woman), rendered with V-Ray.
Rendering takes about 20 hours per image ( 1400x700 ) but my computer is not a reference system.

c&c welcome

Wow, Very nice!

The only thing that doesn't look quite right is the road, looks more like concrete rather than asphalt (ie: not dark enough).

The rest is outstanding tho

There is something not quite right with the road but there are actually highways that are made of concrete.

wow
outstanding render quality, I love the textures.
about the road, a little irregularity would fix it's plastic look.
nice work again!!

Hey man, ...

this is even better, which I thought is impossible. Model is Superb, which is not IMO that hard to make, but the render quality is outstanding. And that is HARD to make :)

You can be pround on this image

probbably my only citicise will be about the licence plate. I`m not sure if the letters are not small..

There are no reflections or spectacular from the headlight covers.

Looking great though!

Really good!!:buttrock: awesome modeling and rendering!!
But 20 hours per frame for render!!! you maybe have two PC because it must be hard to wait as long for a render!!:p

Hy!

Thanks for your positive comments.

Yes, the road is looking different in every country.
Here in Austria there are streets which are "black", and also others that are extremely bright grey. (concrete)

@Nosalis: maybe 1pt, that's better because it's harder to read for the police. ;)

@pandaA: I only have one PC and this is not the fastest one  it's difficult to tune the scene because the preview without Motionblur or Gi is not the same as the result.

eveything's excellent..... only what i find a little odd is the material of the back light...... spoils the realism of the picture......

anywayz rest is all perfect......:buttrock::buttrock:

excellent work.

i found this threat while searching for other audi projects. I'm doing a A6 at the moment and try to find how realistic and how detailed others have done the job.

you have done your job great.

so long C

Certain roads in Europe are concrete, but to ease of maintenance in remote areas.

Great pic:D had to look again just to make sure it wasn't a still
