tzolking, try not to use gradient fill, but to make it by yourself. This way you will get more artistic look and a fine pic.

I do agree with advarsky - esp in quick sketches.

Advarsky - Your palette is consistently turning brighter :) (on a personal note - I am more inclined towards brighter images) - Also frm you last three sketches I see nice contrast between values.

paulreiss - :)

Here's a sullen Frostgiant after a run in with Thor. He got beat up.

Track I was listening to: "Mortal Wombat" by Vomitron

I will be surprised to be the only with this idea, a classic "sepuku" on the snow :

very busy at the moment but also i'm trying to achieve as much as possible in shortest time. detailed work is not of interest to me right now

i'm using DSF as an "engine" which pulls me forward and gives me random topics while i'm choosing specific styles, media, etc that i want to be better at

Ya, I think most of Creeto's work is excellent and shows what is possible in a short amount of time. It would be great to see more detailed work from Creeto but then none of us would have a chance of winning.. : )

And I think everyones concept on the Red Snow topic is appropriate except maybe Advarsky's which may take a moment to realize it is snow that the spaceship is landing on but its a great sketch.

If not for these sketch topics it is kinda of random as to if people are posting original work I think..
I Don't think that it is the idea that counts but that you can follow that it applies to the topic once you know what the topic is..
Just my one cent on the issue.

If it's not clear, the guy overdosed while doing lines.

~60 min, PS

I kind of thought the blood on snow idea would be popular, but I immediately thought of Fargo when I saw the topic, so that was what I kind of had in mind painting this.
