View Full Version : Interior: Mirror Room - 32 reflections
LeeGriggs 09-01-2003, 11:31 AM I thought Id test out the raytracing power of my PURE card and set the raydepth to 32 to see how many reflections of the mirrors Id see. Was quite impressed by how fast it was even at 32 :)

i didnt understand about the size either at first but in all those grey buttons in the post form there is one called IMG and you type your message and then click it and it lets you put in the web address directly to the image and that lets the image be part of the post

Uhmm... that's a external link, there's no size limit on that because the image is not stored on the cgtalk servers. Brianbriggs attached the image, which means he had to upload it.
If you have webspace somewhere available always use that. You are not limited to size and the cgtalk mods will be gratefull since it improves performance of cgtalk.
cheers

Try creating two one-sided polys facing each other (so that you can only see one poly, the second one being faced backwards). Assign raytrace material to both, set the depth to something like 100, place an object in between the two polys and render.
That'll really drive the renderer nuts :)
