I'm working on this rather regular walkcycle and I tought it was a time for a second pair of eyes.

Right now the legs feels a bit off(feels kinda robotic), maybe the dropping down part of the feet are to slow, I would love some help with this. And the right hand is a bit jiffy(that is what happens when you dont fix the both sides at the same time :p)

Best regards//Max

Dude this almost looks like the robot I drew up 9 years ago for a short i wanna do lol anyway i digress, do you have infinity on the graph editor for this cycle? If you do go into the graph editor and smooth out the keys leading into infinity, it looks good but doesnt move in continuity, especially the foot rotation when its rotating down after the foot comes forward. I dont know how smooth you were going for, this being a robot and all because it works how you have it now. I'll try to get a screen capture of what I mean in the graph editor if I'm not making too much sense, keep it up...

That was not the issue but you drew my eye to the salvation.

The problem was that I had a plateau tangents on both side on my footroll controller. This made it stop for moment, now I made the outgoing tangent linear this makes the heel hit the floor then quickly settle instead of stopping then settling.

So thanks it actually helped alot. :)

There is still something funky going on in his right arm so I will fix that tomorrow and post an update.

Time for an update. :)

I think i fixed all the errors, the movement feel alot smoother now, which is the effect I wanted. I would love some feedback on the presentation. I'm planning on having this on my future showreel so I'm wondering if you like the idea of going from an angled view to the side.

I liked the 1st video point of view where you could see all 3 angles simultaneously

Hmm but it seems like most animationsreel just show one angle at a time, and I think there is a reason behind this. It feels like the viewer don't know where to look, if I show one angle then he will always know what I want to show. And I wont have problems with overlapping shadows. :)

You could also animate the camera to start on one side and move it slowly to the opposite side to show it off...

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, kinda like a turntable. :)

exactly, its a good way of showing your animation and how well it looks from all angles instead of just one.
