View Full Version : Still: Stargate Command
NatronX 09-01-2003, 08:04 AM Hi guys,
I'm new here and would like to welcome my way in by showing you an old render, completely modeled and rendered with Blender.
Comments and critiques are welcome of course but I am finished with the image and have no plans of messing with it furthermore.
:)

very real!! It looks exactly like in the sg1. I specially like the lights. It creates a very cool ambient.
can you tell us how you did the lights, i love the glow. photoshop or 3d lights?

wow, for blender I am truly impressed! nice work man, it really looks just like sg command alright. My only crit might be that its a bit overly dark in the room perhaps? bah still, great job. It really goes to show that its not the program but the artist. cheers!

Thanks for the replies and comments! :)

Yes, the figures(chevrons) on the wheel were modeled.
JasonA:
The light glow effect was done in Photoshop. I rendered a second pass with only the iluminated light mesh, brought into photoshop, layered the image and applied a gaussian blur with some diffuse glow.
