First off, I did perform a search, spent about 30 minutes looking for an answer. ANd since I only have 5 hours of internet time left this month, I decided to stop looking and just ask. :)
Ok, I have a rectangle shape. I have an animation that is 260 frames long. I set the rotation for all the axises to 0 at frame 1, and then at the end of the animation, and frame 260, I set the x and y axis rotation to 1,000 and leave z at 0. So we have:
FRAME 1:
x rotation: 0
y rotation: 0
z rotation: 0
FRAME 2:
x rotation: 1000
y rotation: 1000
z rotation: 0

The problem:
Ok, the figure does not rotate in a consitent, predictable direction. It has this kind of diagonal zing-zang feel to it, if you get my meaning. From what I can tell this is because when I rotate, the rotation axis change too. I.E., the rotation axises no longer match the movent axises. I think if I could somehow lock the rotation axises so that only the shape rotates (and the axises don't move with it) the problem would be fixed. However I can't figure out how to do this.
Thank you for your time. I hope I have worded my question in an easy to read and to understand fashion. If you do not understand do not hesitate to say so. I will reword my question if necessary!
Thank you!
