Nice.
Have you seen mononoke? Looks quite a lot like a scene from that film.
2D/3D?
You could try to freeze the action when one of them jumps into the water making great splashes or something.

That's nice !!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the envirement is in 2d right ?
And the character in 3d ?
If those trees are 3d , than that's amazing !!!!!

It is caled a avatar.
at the top of the page you see the orange CG talk banner just above it you havea a buton which say's profile
click it >then select edit options > at the bottom of the page you can select avatart this part will explain itself . If I'm right your avatar has to be 100x100 pixels and it can be a gif and jpg pic.
Well good luck

Reminds me of Mononoke too! (That's only a good thing)
Of course, kind of puts paid to my plans of doing a Mononoke type forest for myself! (Spent a good 40 mins caprture bits off the DVD for reference too)
Oh well - gives me a damn good incentive to get off my arse and try something else :D
Looking very nice.
Samurai Jack : Bang On!
Samurai Showdown : Nippon!

Great idea for the piece. You know why I think so? Cause I had the same one :p However since you beat me to it, I will respecfully abstain from using the samurai theme. Anyways, I think it has great potential, and you can find great refference in a lot of anime. So good luck with the stuffs:thumbsup:

Your lighting is going to be goregous. Already the entire mood is set. I can't wait to see this one.
