i made a small underwater scene with some "nautiaeden".
some creatures who īre living in the pacific.
Modeled in max and texture in photoshop.
It took 8 hours.

Do you use volume light? Hoe to make particles???
really nice love those things, great little monsters. texturing is really nice. Is there a back to them too? if so how did you terminate the spiral on the shell and uv map it? they look like they are near the surface of the water from the lighting so how about giving them a helping of caustics?

ah..smay! hi ;) nice to meet ya here.
so yes of course theres also a back. I mapped it planar.
For Particles i used a radial blur in the opacity channel.
There are 5 lights in the Scene and also one volumelight.

thank you! jeah..texturework tooks longer than modeling.
i modeled in 2 hours. and texturing 6.
