View Full Version : Modifying Skinned Geometry
fattkid 08-31-2003, 08:52 AM I have a low poly game character that I have been painting weights on. I came across a few unnecessary edges that I should delete. I am wondering how to go about deleting the edges while still keeping the weighting and not adding to the objects history. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know a lot about this, but I think....
Steps:
* save the weights
* unskin the object
* make corrections to object
* then reload your weights
I hope this gets you started.
