hello,
can someone explain me what happened in this tutorial and how to do it in modo :)

its really short and easy, its just that im a beginner and can't figure it

edit: think i didn't specify it good enough. im talking about rotating those polygons and making them all horizontal

Your welcome, it was instructional for me as well. I haven't realized one can define the action center separate from the action axis before.

The tiny edge bevel(or chamfer in max) is important, because without those in between polygons the local action center wouldn't work on the individual steps, but rather on the entire polygon group. (Also, there wouldn't be enough geometry to start with of course.)

As I said, interesting technique, so thanks for the video link :)
