View Full Version : M2 Bradley WIP
kassun 08-31-2003, 05:43 AM Here is a new model I started last week for my demo reel. I am modeling an M2 Bradley. I went out and bought a nice scale model of it at the local hobby store and have been modeling it riviot by rivot. It's working out great because I was able to scan in a good front, top and side view from the modeling sheets. I am using Maya 5 polys. Comments and crits appreciated.
thanks,
Kassun

Hmmmmm I like to think of myself as a military buff, but I don't recall the m2? is it an updated m1 abraham? or what?
It looks great so far though, can't wait to see the exterior!

Looks great. Interesting technique. I'm curious if you are making this for private or business use? I understand if you don't answer that. It has an amazing level of detail.

It's actually the M1 Abrams, not Abraham. After General Creighton W. Abrams. This is the M2 Bradley. (Bradley Fighting Vehicle) I'm not at all trying to chime in like a know it all. I hate that! I just happened to make one of those uncomfortable deathboxes my home for a while.

smfjersey: not a problem this model will be used in my demo reel. I will eventually use it for a personal project that I have in mind. I sould have the entire top finished tomorrow afternoon, and work on the turret should start tomorrow evening. Thanks for the feed back.

Well here she is. My second model for my demo reel. comments and crits appreciated. I also did the interior all the way down to the bolts in the seats and weld seams. Used maya 5.0, polys. I bought a plastic scale model and went off the modeling plans for ref images.
I'll post some better renders tomorrow.
Commeants and crits appreciated,
Kassun
