Hey guys,

dont think im stupid, there is almost an exact thread about that topic
And here is the Script from BOBO

But i got one big problem --> performance
In 3dsmax 2010 Design 64Bit when i create a simple scene
with one PFSource and 200 Particles, max goes down.
No chance for me to check or to modify the scene further
However, the script is working - i can see the result, but when i
scrub the timeslider, max hangs for a long time.

Maybe Bobo himself knows what is happening here.
Perhaps something has changed since his Script work and the latest Pflow implementation.
I dont know...

It would be cool if someone could do a little test for me and check if that
script is working fine with the latest 3dsmax Design version.

I recreated the scene as described in the tutorial in Max 2010 64bit and I had absolutely no issues with it. It plays in real time with 200 particles. With 2000 particles, got about 4 fps playback speed.

There must be something very wrong with your system, but I have no idea what it could be.

Hey Bobo thanks for dropping in...


Got the problem "solved"

When i create my custom Box and edit your script without deleting the Box afterwards
max hangs and scrubing the timeslider is almost impossible.
But when i delete the Box everything works fine...
Does that sound logical?
