Hi!
I have been looking around a bit at different camcorders out there and I could really use some advice here. The ones I've been looking at right now is Flip UltraHD (http://www.amazon.com/Flip-UltraHD-Camcorder-Minutes-Black/dp/B0023B14TK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1265579019&sr=1-1) and Kodak Zi8 (http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-Zi8-Pocket-Camera-Black/dp/B002HOPUPC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1265579067&sr=1-1) but I'm sure there are more out there that might deliver better quality.
The main thing I will use it for is acting reference of myself, so it probably won't need a lot of fancy light/depth of field/etc settings. The microphone doesnt have to be top quality either as long as it has some kind of sound input. A hard drive is preferred but SD card is fine too. I was thinking about having a tripod or similar so it can be put on different objects. It will mainly be used in-door in light and semi-dark lighting/ and eventually some out-doors too.
My budget is somewhere around 150-300$ (unless there is some camera just slightly above 300 that is much better of course.)
