Hey all,

Chrome, Firefox and IE all receive the same message when I'm trying to use a quicktime video in the browser, it's extremely annoying since I'm trying to watch some AM videos and it is constantly crashing out with every video.

I have installed the latest Quicktime which hasn't solved the problem, I have reset the MIME settings, every other video type plays except Quicktime.

Any ideas? Is the latest quicktime version broke?

Check if you're running in compatibility mode (firefox). If you are, uncheck that and it might fix the problem.

I'm using Chrome, but I did check that option when running FireFox and it wasn't enabled.

I solved the problem for all of my browsers though, I removed Quicktime and installed Quicktime alternative and it all works now.

I'm guessing there was a problem with the latest quicktime version :shrug:
