Greetings,
WOW, what a great forum. I am glad I just found this.
I have owned C4D for about a year and dabble with it slowly learning more each time. I use it to bring new products from Pro-E (.obj files) to life for the company I work for. Yesterday I ran across something that I know your wisdom can help me solve. When I render in the "active view" I get results that I am nearly pleased with (not C4Ds fault). When I render using the "picture viewer" I get very different results. This has nothing to do with anti-aliasing as another post talks about, but instead it is the surfaces of the product.
I have uploaded the file @ www.majisafi.com (http://www.majisafi.com) (see the archived C4Dmodel.zip)
Here are two images showing the issue:
The first is from the Active View.
http://www.majisafi.com/good.jpg
The second is from the Picture Viewer
http://www.majisafi.com/bad.jpg
Thank you in advance for the time and effort helping me understand what might be occurring. I have a lot to learn and any advice on making my work better would be accepted with open arms.
