hmmm. The cross itself is cool... its all corroded and stuff. Thats good. The rest is kinda ugly.
Green is not the right color for the grass in that light. On top of that, the hill is a very flat, photoshoppy, 2D hill, and you forgot the shadow of the cross on it.
The sky I could live with if the rest corresponded.
I also disagree with your choice of a cartooney novelty font. Not very moody.

Is it some sort of religion critique?
The cross is a bit rotten, but very solid and not old, the form and colour are rater modern, nevertheless theres that old little monk in the front.
It all doesnt fit right together (like henning said), like the red sky and the green grass.
But I like these contradictions. And the image is full of them.

A little simple on the geometry side don't you think? I mean a simple chamfer-edged box cross isn't exactly exciting...

yeah i don't get it either. that monk looks like a rock. i had no idea it was a monk till someone mentioned it. and yeah it's missing a shadow. also the sky going from dark red to blue like that is a bit unrealistic. also what the heck is a painted concrete looking huge cross doing on top of a hill like that? it'd make more sense if it were made from multiple rocks held together by huge ancient metal braces. with pieces crumbling or something.. make it look like an old artifact.. and that grass isnt casting any shadows and is way too green/bright.

i think this is slightly brilliant, i mean, all the clashing colors, the not following of the rules of reality, the incredibly odd texture of the cross and the sky that melts from a deep blue to a weird orangey color, and the clouds that follow
also, is that a monk, i thought it was a rock at first look, and also, a show being cast would make it better, but its cool w/o it!
