I don't know this character myself, so I cannot comment on the likeness, but so far that looks like really good modelling, Lukashi :)

There seems to be something strange beneath his right eye though. Although it could just be a shadow :)

looks awesome no crits here im not familiar with the character but you have that final fantasy style that i have been longing for. what process did you use to make the model thus far and can we see a wire?

i dont think ill do all the ff6 chars, too much :), im just making this one because i dont like how edgar looks in ff antologies,

I used poly by poly modelling for the face and for the body i would like to experiment with box modelling, have not done that yet seems intresting

Also if you are a final fantasy fan, id be really happy to hear some tips on how to pose him or what to make him be doing, i was going to make him fly the airship but thats kind of setzers thing :) it would still be cool but other suggestions would definetly be welcome, thanks!

Only thing I remember about Edgar is all his tech gun toys. Perhaps you can honor him with the biggest gun in his arsenal, blasting critters in the darkness into warped, shreded bits.

I don't remember him being useful for anything, besides strange guns that do strange things, not necessarily for damage.

Final Fantasy VI was rereleased on the PS1 and some of the FMVs included Edgar in 3D. I have some screen captures. I think it looks like edgar, altho it will be difficult to make the cape no? Good luck and show us more!

drill was the best tech IMO :)

i loved FF6. only thing i'd change is his face shape.. right now his face pretty much looks like the standard "CG face". i would picture it being a bit thinner, high cheekbones maybe.

Well, the head is nice, just not Nepolian according to the ref. The cheek bones should be higher and more defined. the nostrils should also be larger and more promiment. the ear is placed a bit too far back on the head. As for the body, it needs a lot of work yet. Nice detailing on the head. He may not look like Nep, but he looks like an interesting character all the same.

Yeah I think he looks a bit more "manly" than the artwork. Amano's male characters often have feminine traits. His face should be a bit more slim. I hope you will make the same black and white pattern on his collar and simillar textures! Can't wait to see it progress:)

Hey, I am pretty familiar with ff3, or ff6, whichever you want to call it. It was three for me. I would totally like seeing Umaro, he was a crazy beast.

This edgar model is going great, he was a great character and the chainsaw would be a cool item to include with your character. Not like your common chain saw though, you'd have to stylize it a lot until it just looked like a slim mechanical blade or something. otherwise a great big auto crossbow would look really cool.

In the end, his skin should be pale, but not a transparent feel, just kind of fair. I never imagined him as ghostly or anything. That's pretty much all I can think of... Except that I think his body armor would be leather. You started with leathor armor in the game and all, so I guess I just automatically associated that and pictured him wearing a leather breast-plate or something.

Do his brother too, hehe. Good job, I am totally going to check back here. I liked that game for a while.

Lets see, i loved ff6, and im sure you know he used Guns right? like the auto crossbow.

For teh armor, i would expect something light but really really fancy because he was King. His colors are Blue and green.

I'm having a hard time with my models color atm as well, But for some reason i'm thinking yer character would look good in cyruses color combo from chrono Trigger

Okay heres what i i "Think" you could do, go with this Color combo but add your own flashys (like dangalin doodads), I could deal with this color combo. Like make under part of your breastplate scratchy look. Your character looks like hes more at home sitting in his castle, where as that picture looks like hes off on a adventrue.

Hah, okay i tried my best. but this is prolly the most i could come up with. I know its not alot of help, but i downloaded the moives with him in it and i looked at his clothing when him and his brother are flipping the coin, and egdar seems to have red pants on with gold lacing up the sides, Hah! but it seems as though his colors are darkgrey and darkblue with a little light grey and some red. any way if i come up with something new i'll post it. wish i could find better pictures=(
