View Full Version : How to separate Vue elements from rendering?

Hi to all,

I'm rendering Vue Metaclouds with 3DSMax 2010 / MentalRay / Vue xStream 8.

I want to cutout the Metaclouds from the rest of the rendering, but I can't find any render elements that deliver a way to separate the metacloud from the environment.

Do you know a way to manage this?

have you tried the multi-pass cloud mask in the vue render options?

Thanks Nicholas, I found it was best to render inside Vue itself, it has excellent 'render elements'.
