Welcome to the reawakened Nuke forum.
Some basic guidelines:
Please adhere to the posting rules of cgtalk.
When asking a question, please be as specific as possible, stating your Nuke version.
When asking more technical questions, make sure you supply your system version and python version
Search the forum for answers to your question first. Don't just post a new topic
If you have found a solution to your question before anyone has answered the thread, please come back to your thread and post an explanation so we know it has been solved. This helps people who are searching for similar solutions
Post code examples in CODE tags
Most importantly, please make this forum thrive! It has been reinstated due to increasing demand. You asked for it, so we need your resources, questions and discussions to make the community work.

Someone pressured the right button for so many good reasons!
I was just wondering a short while ago that no "Award Winner NUKE" was placed here.
Now he`s in.
Say it with flowers.
This is great... Nuke forum is finally in :D

Nice with a Nuke forum here as well. I've been using Shake for 6 years before but switched to Nuke nearly a year ago now and loving it! Was really easy to switch actually, even easier than I though. :)
The SDK for programming native C++ plugins is much nicer than Shake's was!

Hey everyone! I'm a 4+ year Nuke user / VFXTalk refugee and I just wanted to say hello to everyone! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and helping out where I can.

I know that 'crowdfunding' posts aren't appreciated in the News section, and I don't want to run afoul of those rules here, but I am trying to help out a local software manufacturer that is looking to expand their software to the OFX market and in particular looking to expand to Nuke, SCRATCH, Resolve and AVID.
Cinnafilm makes the Dark Energy product for After Effects, and I use it and think what it can do to footage is amazing and I hope that Nuke users would really appreciate its capabilities and would like to be able to use the best texture management tools available directly within their compositor.
Anyway, here is a link to the software site, http://darkenergyforaftereffects.com
and a link to the kickstarter
Again, I don't want to be bucking the rules, but this is a great product made by some great folks that I think you all would appreciate having access too in your tool sets.
If you can, please share the kickstarter with your compositor colleagues, as there are only 14 days left to fund development of the OFX version of the plugins.
