Hello everyone, I am presently taking art design class and we are setting up for our reel
by doing our storyboard. It is still far ahead but time fly fast and I want to make sure
I deliver something nice. I can model pretty much anything organic and mechanic but, it
seem I have a problem to setup large scene or at least modeling large landscape for
animation.
Here part 1 of my animation, there will be multiple parts of my animation happening
through this picture.

It start on the hill and the camera will fly to the castle closed door acting like if the camera
was a flying bird.. The door open and my hero mounted on his horse will ride out and
follow the road up to the hill and back to the original view we started with. I cant model the
whole thing or my computer will crash so I was thinking maybe doing it in 3 parts and edit
the cuts in between the switch. Render the Castle, the road and the hill then edit.
My hero, the horse and the eagle are done and rigged but I have been starting over and over
the past few days on a way to model this large scene to make it happen with no luck.
Considering there is not much info on how to create large semi realistic landscape I taught
I could try my luck asking around on some help. What software could I use best for this?
Links to tutorials I could buy or any advice I could use to make this happen. I personally
use 3dsMAX as my main 3d modeling tool and I am not afraid to switch to any programs if
I have to as I can use most of them to a limit
.
Thx for any advice and sorry for my hard to understand English. I have ran through my english dictionary the best I could =p
