Yah, when I open the file it's looking for the Di Number Shader? Is that part of Di Tools? I don't have it... And I don't see it on the page that you link. How can I see this?

looks good
plugin name is RandomMaterial
Okay, I got it now. Needs Di Tools and the Random Material. It's definately a start, but it moves too quickly and it doesn't fall like the matrix letters do. Have you seen Particle Illusion? It has a matrix effect built in and you could make it a video and then project the video on a texture. I'll see if I can do it. (BTW, Particle Illusion 2 SE is free with this month's issue of Digit.)
Where can I get the di-number shader?
I have Di-tools installed, but there's no di-number shader...
Okay take a look at this. I know that you wanted to make it entirely in C4D, but this is close. I made a super quick animation in Particle Illusion using their default Matrix Fall effect. Then I put that in the color channel of the material and a black and white version of it in the alpha channel. Then I added another material for the transparency. Boom, you're done. Very quick and easy.
Here's the files for those interested.
Matrix Cube Scene File (http://www.mechanolatry.com/images/cgtalk/Matrix Cube PI.zip)
Matrix Cube Mov (http://www.mechanolatry.com/images/cgtalk/matrix cube.mov)
(There's a funny burp in the mov about halfway through. Not sure what happened there. Might have been a problem with the compression. I packed these down as far as they'd go...)
BTW, I *highly* recommend Particle Illusion to supplement C4D. It's really a great program, *especially* since you can get it for the cost of an issue of Digit. (In the states it costs $15. I ordered mine direct from their site...)

Kirl, the current version of DiTools has the number shader, i thikn it was included in the 0.89 update and up. (being .89a and 892 or something)
Its a channel shader...so when you have it, click on the texture field of a channel and select the number shader.
Thanks alot...!
