Used Lightwave.
Models are low poly and not skinned by me.

I had a few looks going over it, started as color, but then went to black&white quickly, but after checking out some old pictures I thought this yellowish old photo look would look the best.

The scene itself should describe the after battle feelings as that soldier probably lost his pal, now he's just sitting there, having a smoke and thinking about all that has happened.

EDIT: just saw that the left hand appears to be going through the scope, must have messed something up there with animating cos originally it was behind it :(

I like it alot.. except for the face of the soldier. The background could use some trees too. But the scene and the meaning of it: very well done!

Thanks, was rather busy for a few times with all kinds of real life.

Why not the face of the soldier, shadow ? :)

Got a 20 second clip of it too but I probably should rerender it because of the mistake there.
(although now than I look at the scene in lw the hand is correctly)
