Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has tried to develop a bioluminescent shader. I'm just trying to figure out where to start. SSS, translucency, glow - I haven't played with these a lot in Mental Ray. Any quick tips before I start the fight with MR:)

Final Gather might be a big help in faking the light. Ambient and Incandescence slots can work wonders!
