View Full Version : Silo - maya plugin?

A lot of people have been saying the new Silo (www.nevercenter.com) modeler looks and feels a lot like Maya. Over in the wings forum, that seems to be a negative thing. ;) It's cheap enough to practically be considered a plugin. Just wondered if any of you maya users have tried it or had any thoughts on the demo.

I tried it out. Not much new, really, except the on screen buttons. I'm not sure you could consider it a plugin for Maya, cause Maya has more functionality as is, than Silo. Actually, I think Wings3D has more functionality than Silo... It's not a bad program, it's just not very innovative, IMO.
