Hello all,

I've recently been using Face Robot to rig a head then exported to Maya for animation.
Has anyone used this workflow before? I don't know Soft so I can't animate there.

I'd appreciate someone to talk to about some minor problems I've encountered. In particular how to integrate it into another rig.

while I don't know XSI (no longer softImage, now Autodesk). We as a community can help you work through the problems you may be encountering. However you will need to be a bit more verbose about the problems and issues you are running up agianst. Such as the issues with Blendshapes that you might be having, or ?? but without more information there is little that we might be able to do for you.

one idea is to save AUs from face robot as object sequences, and build a rig in maya or any other app, and use the sequences as blendshapes with inbetweens. of course, you have to know facial rigging to do that, because it would be up to you to plan the maya rig and based on that pose/animate the AUs in face robot.
of course, the easiest would be to just animate the face in face robot and export the final animation as a sequence that you'd merge with the rest of the maya rig.
